Bauhaus round counter top basins

Bauhaus have 30 counter top basins to choose from so in this article I want to concentrate on just the round ones which they have Severn too choose from starting with the Castellon counter top basin (shown right) which is 430mm in diameter and 145mm high and has a built in overflow it sweeps down to the bottom of the bowl which has a diameter of 140mm.

The Bayona basin is next in the range and this one is a thin walled basin which is designed to be either wall or counter top with a built in mono bloc taps hole, this basin has no over flow.

The Bauhaus Fortuna (shown left) is 400mm in diameter and is designed to be either counter top or semi recessed by having a step down in diameter for when it is to be semi recessed.

The Bauhaus Fuji is a chunky fruit bowl of a basin with a built in overflow it is 420mm in diameter and stands 190mm high.

The Caceres Counter top basin is a thin walled bowl with a diameter of  420mm which sharply angles down to 140mm at the base, it has no over flow or tap hole.

The Vienna is small but neat it has a diameter of 390mm and comes with a mono bloc tap hole and a built in over flow, it is designed for counter top fitting only.

Bauhaus Design Furniture

Bauhaus Design bathroom furniture is a range of flexible modular wall hung bathroom storage solutions with many variations and choices available.

There are three different finish options Walnut (shown right) panga and white with all three finish options there are also size options for the wall hung storage units where a variety of basins and counter top bowls can suit, and the other flexible idea’s are to allow different worktop choices.

Bauhaus – Bathroom Furniture

Bauhaus Bathroom Furniture is designed to be flexible to suit most bathrooms, looking into the ranges on offer I want to start with the Elite Dune furniture, this basin unit was chosen for a display in our London showroom as it caught our eye immediately for its simplicity and clean lines.

The base units themselves come with push open close drawers with soft close mechanism and give plenty of room for bathroom storage.

There are three sizes available for the basins and drawer units 50 cm, 70cm or 100cm, and there are also an additional three wall hung units available with soft close doors, a tall tower unit , a half tower or a short storage unit.

There is also a matching Elite Dune mirror available with an optional light.

The three high gloss resin basins that go with this range are beautifully manufactured to suit and are only available for use with a mono bloc basin tap.

Roper Rhodes Refine – Bathroom Cabinet

Roper Rhodes Refine aluminum double door bathroom cabinet is a very neat solution to bathroom storage, it is slime line at only 100mm in depth has a width of 615mm and a height of 700mm.

The Refine cabinet will sit neatly above most bathroom basins with designer looks and practical storage, inside the cabinet is three adjustable glass shelves and two neat aluminum storage trays.

The doors are made from double sided mirrors and have a really simple but effective magnetic catch system.

Crosswater Stream Bathroom Taps – A Luxury Waterfall

Crosswater have long since put the wow factor in the brass ware market being one of the leaders when it comes to design, well the Stream bathroom taps are no exception to the rule, I think they are a love them or hate them range, I was not sure at first but when you feel the quality in the flesh I feel most unsure people will be convinced.

The range for basins consists of the Stream monobloc basin mixer, a mini basin mixer, a tall basin mixer, a two hole wall mounted basin mixer where the control handle sits above the spout on a rectangular backplate.

For the bath you have a 3 hole bath filler, a 5 hole bath set or you could use a set of hot and cold deck mounted panel valves and the separate bath spout, you also have the option of using a manual shower valve or a manual shower valve with diverter which could be used with a bath filler overflow and shower handset.

Bristan Quadrato Bathroom Taps – eco water saving

Water saving taps do not have to be ugly as the Quadrato from Bristan now proves, the well designed angular lines of the range is a winner when its comes to looks and now with its eco credentials you can save water as well.

At 0.3 bar pressure the basin mixer will still produce 5.9 liters per minute when needed but use the Eco click control and you will get a flow rate of 1.9 liters per minute, even at 1.0bar pressure the eco click cartridge will at full flow produce 10.5 liters per minute and just 3.9 with the eco click control. Tapstore.com’s green policy means that you can get a flow restrictor for higher pressure systems that will make the maximum flow just 9 liters per minute free of charge.

Mini Basin Mixers – Just right for the cloakroom

Mini Basin Mixers have become all the rage now with manufacturers they are launching more models all the time, I have been looking into this phenomenon and it is based around the common use of smaller cloakroom basins being squeezed into WC’s to create a cloakroom out of a toilet.

The One – Crosswater Bathroom Taps

The One from Crosswater is a new concept in basin mixers, the idea is when the body of the tap is pulled towards you the water flow is turned on and when swung to the left its hot and to the right its cold.

A design innovation in brassware from Crosswater and the One monobloc basin mixer certainly is that.

Bristan Arc – Bathroom Taps

If you want to be different then this is the product for you, These Arc bathroom taps from Bristan are available in chrome only and include a playful spout design throughout offering an interesting contrast to their tubular main bodies. The ceramic disc valves with joystick action allows for easy operation and durability.

The Arc from Bristan is a fairly limited range with only this monobloc basin mixer and a bath shower mixer or a thermostatic bath shower mixer available in the range.
