Bauhaus Modest Toilet

Bauhaus Modest toiletsBauhaus have four options of toilets to choose from all at great prices and quaility coming with soft close seats as standard. What make a good toilet is not just the shape of the WC it is mainly the glaze and with out a good quality glaze it will be a nightmare to keep clean inside the bowl.

The Modest Close Coupled wc is minimal shaped piece with a neat square shaped cistern and its projection is only 655mm which is ideal for most bathrooms, they also have an open sided version of the same toilet just in case you do not have the ability to conceal the outlet pipe.

There is a Modest back to wall model which you can use with a concealed cistern for an even more minimal look which projects 505mm, and my favorite is the Modest wall hung toilet, it also has a projection of just 505mm but having an item hanging off of the wall will always be easy to clean and will make your bathroom look much bigger.

Bauhaus Modest Bathroom Suite

MODEST_LIFESTYLE2 The Modest bathroom suite from Bauhaus is created using the highest standard manufacturing process and designed to suit any clean living modern bathroom, its no fuss approach to design and very reasonable price make it a winner for any discerning consumer.

The Modest is a compact bathroom suite comprising of just six choices. The Modest 50 basin is designed to be either wall hung, on an optional pedestal or counter top for a piece of furniture, it is supplied with a single tap hole for a mono bloc basin mixer and a built in overflow.

There are 4 choices for the Modest toilet the close coupled toilet is available in two types both with a projection of just 655mm which is one of the smallest on the market and a great space saving. Both versions come with a dual flush of 3 and 6 liters and are fully internally glazed for hygiene and easy cleaning. The last two options for the WC is the Modest back to wall pan where you can conceal a cistern in furniture or a wall cavity, or for the ultimate in minimal design use the Modest wall hung pan which will make the room look larger.

All the WC’ s have a soft close WC seat available.

Mini Basin Mixers – Just right for the cloakroom

Mini Basin Mixers have become all the rage now with manufacturers they are launching more models all the time, I have been looking into this phenomenon and it is based around the common use of smaller cloakroom basins being squeezed into WC’s to create a cloakroom out of a toilet.

I remember when we used to use short reach basin taps for cloakroom basins, but they were very traditional in style now with the modern clean minimalist style being the main stay of the bathroom market smaller monobloc basin mixers are the solution, so I thought I should introduce a few to you.

Firstly the Logic mini monobloc basin mixer from Crosswater (pictured above right) RRP £169.00 with its cubist design is minimal and simple.

Next is the Java mini basin mixer from Bristan (Pictured left). Delicately arched, the understated design this Java basin tap borrows from nature, imitating the gentle flow of water flowing leisurely downstream RRP £116.00.

Then we have the Storm Mini monobloc basin mixer the cheapest of the three taps featured, The Storm basin mixer tap will provide you with the ultimate in clean lines and with it’s single lever handle at an amazing price. The design of this basin tap will not only meet all the design criteria for the modern, minimalist bathroom it is also fitted with an Eco water saving device that can be adjusted to limit your water flow rate and your water temperature. RRP £83.00.
