Square Bathroom Taps

Looking around at new ranges of square bathroom taps and I came across the Navona collection which is a brand new range which I had not noticed before, it has a lever that is flush to the top of the handle which is a slightly unusual approach but very neat in design, although this is a small range it has every thing that is required for a bathroom, in the collection is either a pair of basin taps or a  mono block basin mixer, there is a bidet mixer and for the bath the choice of a separate pair of bath taps a bath filler or a bath shower mixer.

In the picture to the left is the mono bloc basin mixer and a bath filler, to know the quality of the product the handles have to be smooth in operation which is generally a good test of the quality brassware and these are certainly up the the standard I would expect.

Value for money is where this range really stands out the basin taps come in at just £55.00 with the basin mixer just £63.00 even the bath shower mixer is well priced at £156.00 which makes this range my choice for quality at a price, if you would like to view the whole range on offer then just click here.

The One – Crosswater Bathroom Taps

The One from Crosswater is a new concept in basin mixers, the idea is when the body of the tap is pulled towards you the water flow is turned on and when swung to the left its hot and to the right its cold.

A design innovation in brassware from Crosswater and the One monobloc basin mixer certainly is that.

You will need a high pressure water system 1 bar minimum to get the best performance from the One bathroom taps, in the range is a tall basin mixer, a 3 hole basin set, 2 wall mount basin mixers one with a shelf, bidet mixer, a wall mounted bath shower mixer, there are also manual valves for showering and bath filling operations.

The One Monobloc Basin Mixer RRP £349.00 tapstore.com £279.00.

If you mention The Bathroom Designer you can get another 5%.

John Sydney – Bathroom Taps and Showers.

The JS2 range which was the John Sydney has brand has now been amalgamated into the Bristan brand, The John Sydney Brassware has always been a separate entity to Bristan but now that Bristan have moved into their new premises they have decided to move the best selling range to be part of the main bristan product ranges, this now means that non displaying outlets can supply the product to the retail market directly, the retail prices have not changed and the JS2 range has not been extended but the high quality product is now available to everyone and I would suspect at reduced selling prices through merchants locally.

Js2 Monobloc basin mixer RRP £290.00

Hey Joe Black is Back….

Crosswater Hey Joe Matt Black Basin Mixer

Crosswater introduce the Love Me range in Matt Black

Crosswater have just launched 2 new ranges of matt black taps, the Hey Joe and the Love Me collections. I thought I had seen the end of powder coated taps many years ago.

Well the brain behind keeping Crosswater ahead in the design stakes is David Hance (managing director), he has pulled another one out of the bag here and has a canny way of keeping his cards close to his chest then bang you did not expect that, well he has almost made two new tap ranges by adding these matt black finishes. Hey Joe has in my mind been a slightly better product than Love Me although they are both of a very high standard.

All we need now are the accessories to match I am sure they are one step ahead with that one to….
